Before opening a professional store, TTF used to be involved in selling fake copies of Metal Slug to japanese stores and also through auctions. The beginning of this thread is in French, but there is an English translation:

Since he became a professional seller, he has stopped selling fakes. At least, this is what I believe. So I think you will not have any issue ordering from him now, but it is up to you to decide whether you can trust someone who was dishonest in the past.

Other things I heard about was that he bought all the copies of Blazing Stars that he could and kept them in order to make the game even more expensive. TTF's prices are usually very expensive and are one of the many reasons retro video games are so pricey nowadays.

Without opening the cart, it is indeed very hard to tell whether a cartridgde is genuine or not. For expensive games (more than $500), I think you should always ask the seller to open the cart or do it yourself. (Some stores and sellers already do it)

The service received by TTF was excellent, but I am afraid that i may need to open my cart to verify that is genuine.
Something that I would not do it. (I do not want to damage it).
He seems to be a pretty nice dude btw...

I really think he stopped selling fakes and now wants to provide top-notch service, so your cart has a very high probability of being genuine. The thing is, it is hard to forgive such scams, even if they are more than ten years old.

Mi experiencia con TTF en el pasado siempre ha sido excelente. Tanto en el envío, protección del producto y descripción del mismo.

Sólo he comprado 2 juegos de AES y de MD en su tienda y todos siempre 100% originales y en perfecto estado.

Sin duda, volvería a comprar en su tienda si me interesara alguno de sus productos.
